 Lifebread Sewing School in Pakistan
Going strong
 .

The International President, Steve Marshall and the Vice President, Peter West, were impressed with the Sewing School project of Lifebread in Pakistan.

They recently saw first hand all the work that the trainees are doing to learn the sewing skills.

The school needs more sewing machines because of the demand for skill training.

Do You Love the Lord Your God?

Lawyers are trained to ask pertinent questions. The questions they ask are relevant to the point they want to make and sometimes to trap those who they are questioning.  One such lawyer asked the Lord Jesus Christ a question.  We see this in the 22nd chapter of  the Book of Matthew in verses 34 to 38. Here the lawyer, said to be an expert, tried to test Jesus by asking Him "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"   Jesus responded:"Love the Lord your God with all your with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your hearts."   Jesus said this is the first and the greatest commandment. And the second is to love your neighbour as yourself.  The Lord said all the Law and the Prophets hang ont these two commandments.  The question for us is do we love the Lord with all our hearts, soul and mind?  Or are we selfish and just want the blessings but do not obey His commandments.  The Lord says if you love me, you will obey my commandments. Let us examine ourselves and see how much we love our God, our Maker , Our Creator.  He created us for His purpose and for His glory but we have become selfish. We want God to do what we want and not what He wants.  If we love God with all our hearts, minds and soul we will let God whatever He wants with us.  We will obey Him and wait on Him. The Holy Bible says "Obedience is better than sacrifice".  If we obey the first and the second of the greatest commandments we continue to live in a life of victory in Christ Jesus.

The "Spirit man vs the Flesh man"

Romans 8: 14 says "For as many are led by the Spirit are Sons of God".  There is a real conflict taking place in the world between "flesh man" and the "Spirit man".  The "Spirit man" is one who is filled with the Holy Spirit because of one being saved by Christ Jesus and had a real experience of the new birth in Christ Jesus.  The Spirit man will do everything asked of him by the Lord's commandments.  His only source will be God the Father who through His Son Jesus by the work and power of the Holy Spirit will be his channel of knowledge, wisdom, power, strength, peace, joy and victory.  The "Spirit man" will not lean on his own understanding but depend and trust on God at all times.  The "flesh man" will reject Christ Jesus.  The "flesh man" will not obey the commandments of God.  The flesh man will not obey the ten commandments as in Exodus chapter 20.

Romans 8:9 says "however you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. If any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him."

The "Spirit man" is the recepient of Christ's power by the Holy Spirit  through which he can minister to others.

I choose Christ before man.  Whom will you choose.   Joshua said "As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord."

I too choose to serve the Lord.

God Bless You

Ps Ray Moti

Message from the International Director

In John 14:6 and 7:

Lord Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know my Father as well.

In other words, there is no other way to God.  Lord Jesus Christ is the only way.   Many have come and many claim to be God but there is only one who paid the price through His life and Blood to free us from the bondage of sin.  Jesus has reconciled those who believe in Him to the Father and has empowered them with His Holy Spirit.   We are now dead to sin and alive in Christ Jesus.  It is no longer our old man of the flesh who lives in us but Christ Jesus by His Spirit which dwells in us.

We have access to the same power and the Holy Spirit which resurrected Christ Jesus from His grave and now we can do all things in Christ Jesus who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)

Those who believe in the Risen Christ are saved from condemnation at the time of judgement when Christ returns but as explained in Philippians 2 verse 12  we need "to continue to work out your (our) salvation with fear and trembling".   The next verse says "for it is God who works in you to will and according to His good purpose".   May the Lord bless you all.

Ps Ray and Nadira Moti
